Mother Nature really must have been in tune with my schedule this week. Both Tuesday and Wednesday when I had to take exams, the rain would let up just enough for me to make it out to school and back home, or at least long enough to make it out of my car (mind you, this is a 30 min drive each way.

Then Wed afternoon, I start thinking about snow for the second time this week. First when I turn on the TV and start watching "The Ultimate Christmas Present" , a Disney movie about a snow storm in Los Angelus, then it starts snowing in my town in Animal Crossing. I had been vaguely paying attention to the weather reports, but as of Wed night, it was only saying a little mixed precipitation for the North Shore, and cold and rainy here (well, back home).

I woke up yesterday to the cold dreary day they had predicted. Now they were saying we could see a few flakes of snow or some sleet, but no accumulation. This is when I starting looking for it. A little after 8am, I found what I was looking for, big time! A really good flurry was coming down. I stropped getting ready for a few minutes to go outside and film it coming down (I'll upload the vid to YouTube later). I still didn't think it was going to be very much, after all, it doesn't snow down here very often. But by the time we left to go drop the animals off, it was already accumulating on the cars, grass, trees, everywhere except the roads. The conditions couldn't have been more perfect. No only did I get to see snow for the 3rd time in my life, but it was still warm enough for the roads to still be safe, and it snowed early enough for us to enjoy it before we left (it was actually starting to melt by the time we left around mid day.

So now, we're at a little hotel just an hour outside Orlando. We'll be leaving for the resort soon, and then to the Magic Kingdom. I don't know if I'll be able to post while I'm there, but if not, I'll talk again when I get back.
