Well, I got online to finally check my grades from last semester and discover not only did I fail all of my classes, but I had also been on academic probation since the end of last spring, which I was completely unaware of. Really, aren't they supposed to tell you these things! So since I was already on probation and I failed again, I can't take classes this spring.

After calling myself a failure and cursing UNO to the darkest pits of hell for a few hours, I finally started to calm down enough to think things through. While this pushes my graduation back, I do have a few months to work and get some of my debt paid off. While I now need to start paying for my own health insurence since I'm not a student, this was going to happen in about a year anyway. I'm still getting used to the idea of not being in school, but I think thing will work out.

As for fixing what got me into this mess, my lazy attitude towards academics, I've decided I needed to get my mom involved. I've tried to motivate and punish myself on my own, but it just can't do it. I've talked it over with her and I plan on giving her my credit card to help prevent me from "rewarding" myself without reason, and to help me in paying off my debt.
